CONQUERING THE SPIRIT OF FEAR

   

 Irrespective of what Abraham saw, he was not afraid. He knew God was able to perform what He had said concerning his life. Faith is the custodian of every man's destiny. Faith is a spiritual force that puts any believer in command of the affairs of life.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

From the above quoted scripture, we see that faith is an unbye-passable requirement to please God to release any desired testimony.

Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which are seen. (Hebrews 11:3)

Quickly understand according to Hebrews 11:1 in a paraphrasing term that Faith is concluding in the heart from the evidences of the things God has done in the past that He will do them again and again.

In this regard therefore, you capitalize on the testimonies of God that were done by His words and begin to reshape your world by your word through faith. Satan can't get at you until he gets at your beliefs in God's testimonies. Lack of faith gives ground to fear, fear gives ground to satan to attack. The presence of fear is the absences of Faith. Faith is a spirit and Fear is also a spirit. (2Timothy 1:7) Both can't be in the same place at a time. It's either one is giving way for the other to stay.

Fear is a victimizer that victimizes its candidates. That is to say, people are victims of what they fear.

Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

No matter how dedicated, righteous and holy you are, if you are afraid, you give the devil room to attack you at will. Fear will always give the devil access to any believer's life. Satan could not touch Job until he became afraid. Job didn't even know that God was protecting him.

Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

Seeing the evidence of how God protected others in the past and believing in it that God who has protected them will also protect you triggers the reality of God's protection upon your life.

Satan knew that God was protecting Job, but Job, through fear, created an avenue for Satan to attack him. Satan never had access to Job until he became afraid. Every time you are afraid, you open the door for Satan to attack you.

I pray for you that Satan will have access to you no more in Jesus name!

Faith is the antidote for fear. Where fail is, faith can not be found and where faith is, fear can not be found. The Bible recorded 365 "FEAR NOT" Which means, we've got daily scripture prescribed "FEAR NOT" in our lives. It's expected of every believer to apply and walk in the reality of it daily. There is nothing that doesn't happen when it is being afraid of. Including death. The sickness you're afraid of has the capacity to take your life. When you are afraid of failing, failure becomes inevitable.

HOW TO OVERCOME FEAR

Have adequate knowledge of God's word.

Proverbs 24:5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

When knowledge comes, strength comes as well.

Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

So when you know God, the devil becomes irrelevant and has no power to make you panic. Knowing God closely terrorises your terrors even the most wicked devil.

The nature of God is undieing, fearless, unfailing. The knowledge of His words from being born again tells you that you've got that same nature in you. And the reality becomes that what can't kill God, can't kill me and what can't fear God, can't fear me also.

Knowledge of God's word gives any believer the leverage to carry God's divine nature that puts fears to flight. 

2 Peter 1:3-4

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And also knowledge of God's word helps any believer to see the Angels of God encamped round about to give guidance and guard. They are invisible though, but are more real than physical securities men have around them. You have the knowledge of the Angles and you speak to them to perform the duties they have been assigned to by God for you. It's amazing to know that the Angles harken to your words.
